One of the highlights of NACC’s year. We meet at the Biblins campsite in the Forest of Dean for a great weekend of paddling on the River Wye.
Ideal for club members those who want their first experience of paddling on moving water, great fun for those who want to practice their skills and a lovely way to catch up with friends in the club. We camp or stay in the bunkhouse – your choice. Food and coaching are included in the cost of the weekend. A really relaxed social weekend, usually at the beginning of July when you can take the skills learned in the club’s summer courses to the next level on moving water.
All ages and abilities welcome.
Club Equipment Hire Regulations
Club members may hire club equipment by contacting the equipment officer. The price is £10 per boat per day, with a returnable (cash) deposit of £20.00 per boat. Club boats may be taken on a maximum of grade 2 water (with grade 3 features). The deposit is increased to £50.00 for any greater white water.
72 hours notice is required when hiring club equipment
The club reserves the right to refuse any booking
All club equipment hire cancellations must be notified immediately
Club equipment hire fees must be paid on or before collection
Return of hired equipment must be arranged in advance of hire
Equipment must be returned in a clean state (i.e. washed)
Any damage to club equipment must be reported immediately
Any damage must be paid for or rectified by hirer
Intended use of club equipment must be agreed with equipment officer
Ardèche Trip 2020
Unfortunately due to the corona virus pandemic, this year’s Ardèche trip has been cancelled. We hope to run this trip in future years.
