If you are a member and would like to hire a boat, please contact the quartermaster, Gordon Williams. Please text, or leave a voice mail if you can't text, on the following number: 07950-915236. This is a dedicated phone number only to be used for booking boats for Wednesday evenings.
The club charges £8.00 per day for hiring one of the club boats. A returnable deposit of £20.00 per boat is required. This is increased if certain boats are required for use on grade three water - £10.00 per day with a £50.00 returnable deposit.
Higher value canoes/kayaks, notably two man ones and the sea kayaks, will be charged at £10 per day with £20 deposit
To make things work efficiently please ensure you give at least 3 days notice.

At least 72 hours notice will be given when hiring equipment. Late bookings may not be accepted.
- All cancellations of equipment hire should be notified as soon as possible so that others who wish to use the equipment have the chance to do so.
- All equipment to be paid for at the time of collection.
- All times of collection and return - to be arranged in advance and adhered to.
- Equipment to be returned in a clean state.
- Report damage of any equipment when it is returned.
- Damage or loss incurred during private hire or incorrect use whilst in hire, is to be paid for or rectified by hire users. To be determined by the Equipment Officer
- Equipment to be used up to grades of water specified, not above.
- No boats are to be used to shoot weirs or for 'rock hopping'.
- The club reserves the right to refuse any booking.
- No boats are to be used on water above grade 2 for the general purpose boats, grade 3 for the whitewater spec boats.
- Members may apply to the committee for a reduced hire rate if the intention is to train for a recognised event.
