At North Avon Canoe Club we take training very seriously. Introducing the sport to new paddlers and helping more experienced kayakers and canoeists develop their skills is one of the things were most proud of at the club.
We offer PaddlePower and PaddleStart courses throughout the summer on Wednesday evenings to help new paddlers get started. For those who get the bug, our summer training weekend, held at the Biblins in the Forest of Dean is a fun way to learn a bit more.
For those looking to push themselves further we also run whitewater and sea kayak training weekends throughout the year. With so many coaches around there are always people available to offer advice or opportunities to develop your own paddling career down the coaching route. So if you fancy learning more about the sport, or helping others why not join the club or speak to Anna - our training officer. |
