This North Avon Canoe Club Wednesday night courses 2011

The club coaches are offering several opportunities to take beginner or improver courses this year. Each course will run for 5 weeks and there will be two series of courses. Series 1 starts on the 11th of May and finishes on the 15th of June (there will be a break for half-term) The second series starts on the 22nd of June and finishes on the 20th of July. Although the courses will follow the BCU structure and syllabus they may not all lead to the BCU award. This will depend on the progress of the participants and the availability of coaches to do assessments. The courses are as follows:

Whether you are a complete beginner or have just returned from a first descent down a gnarly Himalayan torrent you will be made very welcome! We meet at Saltford Shallows every Wednesday evening during Spring and Summer.

First club night in 2010 will be WEDNESDAY 28th APRIL

Last club night in 2010 will be WEDNESDAY 8th SEPTEMBER

Time 6.30pm (on the water for 7pm) TILL DUSK

2009 Wednesday Evenings - end of the season!

Our Wednesday evening sessions for this year have sadly finished. Every cloud has a silver lining and the end of the summer season heralds the start of winter paddling.

 

Keep in touch to hear news of future paddling events.  Paddling will be available for all abilities!

 

Our regular Wednesday evening sessions at Saltford will begin again from late April 2010.

 

In the meantime....lets enjoy the winter paddling!
