There are not many canoe clubs that can boast that they have 3 talented freestyle paddlers competing at the top level in the UK.  George, Sam and Josh all started their paddling at NACC.

3 seperate competitions were recently held to select the 2010 GBR freestyle team.  The first two events were at Nottingham and the third event at Hurley.  The best two results counted towards the overall ranking.

Sam finished a very creditable 10th place in the juniors. George has moved up to the seniors this year, and was placed 21st out of 39. This is a very tough category and he was competing against world class paddlers.

We are delighted to say that Josh has made the GBR Junior Freestyle kayak squad for 2010. Well done and a huge thank you to all the NACC coaches that have helped the lads along their way.
