If you are a member and would like to hire a boat, please contact the quartermaster, Gordon Williams. Please text, or leave a voice mail, on the following number: 07950-915236. This is a dedicated phone number only to be used for booking boats for Wednesday evenings.

The club charges £8.00 per day for hiring one of the club boats. A returnable deposit of £20.00 per boat is required. This is increased if certain boats are required for use on grade three water - £10.00 per day with a £50.00 returnable deposit.

Higher value canoes/kayaks, notably two man ones and the sea kayaks, will be charged at £10 per day with £20 deposit

To make things work efficiently please ensure you give at least 3 days notice.

All the canoes and kayaks come supplied with Buoyancy Aids, Paddles, Helmets and Spray Decks, where required.

Note: The provision of white water spec boats is so that less experienced club members without their own boats can gain experience on a higher grade of water - not so that people can trash them instead of their own boats.

Also: No club kayaks are to be used for 'rock hopping'. Barnicles can form a very good rasp!
